I've had my eye on this for a long time and hadn't had a chance to try it out until now. It works and I love it! This presser foot, which was featured on Nancy's Notions PBS program a few weeks ago, does just what it says it will. It has a built-in 1/4" seam guide and it automatically eases curves so that they fit perfectly. You don't have to pin or clip -- just sew! The foot itself is clear (which is why I don't have a photo of it) and it comes with six different adapters so it will fit almost any machine. I would be LOST without this stuff! I use it all the time for applique, piecelique, holding seams in place -- the list goes on and on! This is a washable basting glue with a VERY FINE applicator tip (that I haven't been able to find anywhere else!) The bottle contains 2 oz. of glue which lasts a long time, washes out easily and doesn't damage or discolor fabric. This stuff is like having an extra pair of hands! I use a couple of drops to glue down my applique pieces and it eliminates the need for pins.

As a quilting instruction this pattern solves a lot of my problems! Everyone seems to think that a Log Cabin quilt is easy to piece -- and it IS as long as you're absolutely accurate! Perfect Shape No-Melt Mylar

This is wonderful stuff and it's one of my "tricks" for doing applique! I cut out my finished shape, cut out my fabric leaving seam allowance, squirt some spray starch on the fabric and then press the seam allownace over the mylar using a Medium setting on your iron. Remove the mylar and you've got a sharp, clean, finished edge to applique. It couldn't be much easier! I also use this for doing the curves in Dresden Plates and in the new paper-pieced Double Wedding Ring pattern. The sheets are 9" x 12".

This is another familiar fabric! It's been around for a while and they've finally made it wide enough for a backing! Sweet sprays of viney flowers are scattered all over this almost-white fabric. Once again the background is such a light cream that it's almost white and the design itself is white. I found this invisible thread at a show and I love it! It's a very fine invisible thread that has a matte finish. In other words -- it isn't shiny when it's in a quilt. The Slider

Here's something that actually works -- I've tried it!! The Slider lays on the bed of your sewing machine when you're machine quilting and it alleviates the "drag" that's created by static. Since it's made out of Teflon, it allows your quilting project to simply "slide" around under your needle which really helps to alleviate the back and arm strain we all get when we machine quilt. I've been using it on smaller projects and I like it!

I am LOVIN' this stuff! Wow! It makes my life so much easier! This new product is wonderful for applique, embroidery, punchneedle, machine quilting......... I'm sure there are even more uses for it! It's a pliable film that you can run through your injet printer. After it's printed just peel it off and stick it where you want it. You can needle through it for embroidery and punchneedle, cut around it for applique pieces, quilt right through it for quilting........ the uses seem to be endless. When you're finished simply cut away the excess film and soak your project briefly in water to melt away the remaining film. How easy is that!! No more tracing.......... I LOVE IT! The sheets are 8.5" x 11" and come in packages of 10 sheets or 30 sheets.
